{1st Birthday} Farm Animals 1st Birthday for Brayden

Little Brayden is having a very special 1st birthday party coming up. And the theme of farm animals has me singing "Old McDonald Had a Farm." =)

Here are two decorations we created for his party: a high chair banner and party door sign.

(I love the little piggy best!)

We hope Brayden has a fun party! E-I-E-I-O!

{Seasonal Banner} Orange Fall Banner with Leaf Accents

What is there not to love about fall? Warm colors, cool temperatures. I love all the colors of the changing leaves. We've incorporated some of those colors into a new "Fall" banner, complete with leaf embellishments and coordinating ribbon.

Thanks for looking! Make sure to check back with us as we'll soon have lots more seasonal banners.

{Holiday Banners} Candy Cane and Snowflakes for Christmas

Merry Christmas!

Yes, you're right, it's too soon to be saying Merry Christmas. After all, it's not even Halloween yet! But it's not too soon to be thinking about your holiday cards. And for many of us, that means taking fall family photos to send out to family members near and far.

So if you're taking family photos out in the beautiful fall foliage and you want to add a little holiday cheer to your photos, take a look at one of our holiday banners. {Polka dots. Snowflakes. Candy canes. Oh, yes.}

We'll soon have plenty for sale on our Etsy shop, so be sure to check it out! We will gladly welcome custom orders for these guys. If you're coordinating outfits for photos and want a holiday banner to match, let us know and we'll make one to match!

We love seeing our creations come to life with the rest of the party setup. We will gladly welcome photo submissions and share your setups with everyone! Thank you for sharing, Chastity!

{Party Banner} Colorful Candyland

I've always loved the game of Candyland. The bright colors, the fun characters and the game of moving back and forth across the board. I've always had a sweet tooth, and Candyland just seems to hit the spot.

And it's not only a fun game, but it's also becoming a popular and FUN theme for children's birthday parties. (It's actually the theme we had for my daughter's 2nd birthday. Check out that Candyland Birthday Party blog post here.)

So with that in mind, we couldn't help but create a fun banner to go along with the theme.

Each letter even has a little extra for the sweet tooth, as we've added candy embellishments. Lollipops. Peppermints. Oh, yes.

You can find this banner and lots of other fun party decorations at our Etsy shop.

{Birthday Banner} Superhero Party to the Rescue!

Up in the sky ... It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's a Superman birthday banner! (Sorry, I couldn't resist ... )

Chastity recently requested a "Happy Birthday" banner for an upcoming Superheroes party. She had a clear idea of what she was looking for, and she even had everything put together for what all will coordinate with this party.

She had seen a banner like this on Hostess With the Mostess, and we were thrilled to be able to create a similar one as a custom order.

Thank you for letting us create this for you, Chastity, and we hope everyone has fun at the birthday party!

{Ribbon Topiaries} Dora the Explorer

Little girls just can't seem to get enough of Dora. (My daughter Avery, on the other hand, is borderline obsessed with Strawberry Shortcake.)

Well, these topiaries are all about Dora, pink and polka dots. A whole lotta all of the above. And I'm loving them. They were created for an upcoming birthday party.

{Fall Festival Pet Parade} Wranglin' Up the Wild Westside

Two cowgirls. One cowboy. And a few little "cows" to wrangle up.That's what it took to make our Fall Festival Pet Parade float a winner! Well, and maybe a handful of adults willing to play along and help put the whole thing together.

Mikaelah and I created a few specialty items for our parade float, which we called "Wranglin' Up the Wild Westside."

Seen below are Landon, Brylee and Avery. They had a GREAT time, and at the end they were so proud of their third-place medals.

Here's the whole bunch! We all had a lot of fun, and what a great day for the parade. Nothing but blue skies.

Extra special thanks to our brother, Jonah, who built our fenced-in float. (He is co-owner of Bowen and Becher Construction, and he really knows his stuff. I think he had a lot of fun at the parade and building the float!)

It was our second year in the Pet Parade, and looking back at pictures from the year before, it's funny to see how much our kiddos have grown! Our theme for 2010 was an enchanted forest. (Pretty much just a good excuse to put the little girls in tutus!) The photos were taken by my good friend, Erin McCracken.

We'll be sure to be back at the Pet Parade next year!
