{Wedding Reception} Favors, Place cards and More

"Forever and Always." These simple words hold special meaning for the newest newlyweds,  Nathaniel and Jewel. So we wanted to do something special for them and their wedding guests.

Mikaelah and I were very happy to be a part of the preparations for their big day. So here's what we did:

These tags, along with simple black ribbon, were affixed to the front of vases holding candy sticks. They were beautifully placed on the cake table.

We also made smaller, more colorful tags for the individual wedding favors.

The main wedding colors were pink, green and orange.

There was also a hint of yellow in the wedding, so we mixed up the colors for some of the favors. (The pink on light pink was my favorite! So cute!)

And this is how the tags were displayed with the favors ... yummy candy sticks in wedding colors, of course!

Next came place cards for the head table and the reserved tables. This is one of Mikaelah's favorite thing to make ... and she's so good at it. I just love them, and it's a fun little keepsake for each member of the wedding party.

So the bride and her mother had a GREAT idea to provide a bunch of brand-new flip flops for the ladies at the wedding reception. Danced your feet off during the "Chicken Dance"? No worries, just grab a pair and get back on the dance floor.

Once Mikaelah saw all those flip flops, she had a last-minute idea for a cute sign to hang above them ...

I just loved it!

And then we had to address the front doors, and this was just the right touch that they needed.

Here's the rest of the reception decorations:

 Congratulations, newlyweds!
