{Wedding Decorations} Fall Colors for a Fall Wedding

Michael and Savannah are getting married this weekend. They are all set to have a beautiful outdoor wedding, followed by dinner and then a reception at a local venue.

You might remember the banner we created for them. You can take a peek at it here. Their wedding is all about some fall colors, so here are some other decorations we created just for their big day:

I believe this was our first ribbon wreath (very similar to our ribbon topiaries in the way that it is made). I love this way this turned out, and I secretly want one for myself. (OK, so now it's no longer a secret ... I'm thinking bright colors and polka dots. Not really fallish though, right? Note to self: save this idea for the springtime.)

The Mr. and Mrs. are having a picture display table at the reception, and we thought this would be cute to put along with all of their photos.

And now for some ribbon topiaries. Mikaelah chose the double topiary for these. They just have more of an elegant feel to them. They are the same shape as the ones created for the Tiffany blue, black and white bridal shower seen here.

Best wishes, Michael and Savannah!

{It's Party Time!} Tea Party for Our Little Princesses

I asked my 2 1/2-year-old if she had fun at the Tea Party we recently held for her and her cousin Brylee.

"I want more. I wanna go there again."  <--- I think that says it all!

As I mentioned a while back, this is a VERY belated birthday celebration for the girls. Their birthdays were back in March and April, and of course they had parties then, but we also had to have our 2nd Annual Tea Party. It's a tradition now, and we cannot break tradition. Plus, they're at the point where they remember every promise we make ... =)

Pictures and details of their 2nd birthday parties are here on our blog. Avery's party was a Candyland theme, and Brylee's was a Wild theme.

But who doesn't love a tea party? I'm talkin' frilly pink dresses, decadent desserts and "pretend" tea complete with pinkies in the air. Here is a glimpse of our special tea party:

One of our tissue paper door signs. The party theme colors were pink, purple, lime green with a small accent of yellow, so we created a special sign to go with it.

Mikaelah created this Tea Party ribbon topiary. (Picture clearly wasn't taken at the party, but this way it shows off some of the polka dot a printed/patterned ribbon she used. Have I mentioned we love polka dots?!)

Mikaelah's fabulous green wire dessert stand makes another appearance. (Love this item because it can go with almost anything!) I made and decorated the cupcakes, and the cupcake toppers were a creation of Ciao Bambino on Etsy.

I baked the chocolate chip muffins. Talk about yummy! They're made with absolutely no oil or butter, and applesauce is used instead. Our brother Jonah would eat a whole batch of these on his own because he loves them so much!

I also whipped up some marshmallow pops =)

Our Tea Party banner can be found on our Etsy shop.

And now for the table set for the princesses ... oh yes, and Landon, Brylee's older brother! (He secretly loved the tea party!)

They're ready to party: from left, Brylee, Landon and Avery.

Pinkies in the air! (See, Landon, I know you had fun!) And now for some candid shots of the kiddos:

Success! I think they all had seconds of the desserts. (I think Brylee liked the icing more than the cupcake.)

Happy Tea Party!

{Wedding Banner} Fall Colors for Michael & Savannah

Michael and Savannah are getting married next weekend, and we've created a fall wedding banner for them.

The colors were chosen to match their gorgeous wedding cake. Each letter of the banner is adorned with sparkly leaf embellishments.

We hope they enjoy their wedding day, and best wishes to them both!

{Halloween} Some Very Spooky and Scary Banners

Is it really almost October?! I love fall. I love the weather, love the pumpkins and I love all the decorations we get to put out this time of year. So we've put together a few Halloween banners, some for our Etsy site, and a Trick or Treat one that was created as a custom order.

And we have other ones in the works, too! I've also picked up some burlap and am working on creating a banner with that material as well. I'm anxious to see how it will turn out, and I'll be sure to share pictures when I do.

Thanks for looking, and happy (early) Halloween!

{Wedding Banner} Lime Green, Black and White

We created a "Thank You" banner for a special bride whose wedding is fast approaching. Wedding colors are lime green, black and white, and this banner should fit right in!

We hope you love it, Sarah, along with the "Love Birds" banner as well! Best wishes!

{Ribbon Topiaries} Turquoise and Purple

These two beauties were created for an upcoming birthday party. They are just so bright and cheery ... even on a rainy day like today!

The ribbon choices include satin, sheer, glittery and patterned. Both are complete with additional ribbon at the base.

Can you tell that Mikaelah has been busy with topiaries lately? She is the master behind this creation, but I'm trying to work my way up the topiary ladder. (I'm just not as good at it as she is!)

Thanks for looking!

{Ribbon Topiary} Rock Star Pink and Black

Now to me this screams rock star. Fun and funky. And pink, which is just what Ella wanted for her bedroom.

We hope Ella loves it!

{Wedding Banner} Tiffany Blue, Black and White

These colors are becoming a popular combination for weddings. And I can see why ... they're so pretty together. The Tiffany blue looks so striking with the black next to it.

We have created a "Just Married" banner with this color combination. It's for sale on our Etsy shop.

The ends are tied with additional white tulle along with a sheer Tiffany blue ribbon and a thin black and white ribbon.

Wow, I love this color combination, and we hope you like it, too! But this banner really would look great in any color.

Thanks for looking!
